Digital strategy for national governments

Descripition

Improving the overall performance of the public sector does not only involve hiring employees and investing in new technologies. For these two initiatives to present the expected results, it is necessary to prioritise strategically in digital transformation. The strategic planning consists of elaborating a series of actions that must be carried out by a public body to become more digital and citizen-friendly.

Oak Digital Consulting also helps Member States from the European Union to improve their DESI ranking. The DESI is a composite index summarising five important metrics: connectivity, human capital/digital skills, use of internet by citizens, integration of digital technology by businesses, and digital public services. We guide governments to improve on these areas and, as a result, improve Europe's overall performance in the digital sphere and improve the advancement of Member States' digital competitiveness.
