Business process model notation (BPMN) and process management
Business process model notation (BPMN) and process management

Descripition

Business process model notation (BPMN) and process management is a service that helps your organisation understand and optimize its internal processes. The service includes identifying and documenting the steps involved in a particular process, analysing the process to identify areas for improvement, and implementing changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Everything is documented using a BPMN. The goal is to streamline operations, reduce costs, and improve overall performance for every process. At Oak Digital Consulting, the group strives to make process more proactive, without the need of human interaction, whenever possible and appropriate.

Process

Initial consultation: The first step in the process is to conduct an initial consultation with the client to understand their specific needs and goals for the business process mapping and process management service. This step includes discussing the current processes in place and identifying any pain points or areas for improvement.
Process mapping: The next step is to create a detailed map of the current process. The mapping includes identifying all the steps involved, the individuals or departments responsible for each step, and any inputs and outputs associated with the process.
Process analysis: Once the process map is complete, it is analysed to identify areas for improvement. This analysisincludes identifying bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas where errors are likely to occur. The group at Oak Digital Consulting also checks for proactivity/automation opportunities.
Process redesign: Based on the analysis, the process is redesigned to improve efficiency and effectiveness. The redesign includes streamlining steps, automating certain tasks, and making changes to improve the flow of the process.
Implementation: The redesigned process is then implemented, and any necessary changes are made to the organisation's systems and procedures.
Training: Employees are trained and briefed on the new process to ensure they understand their roles and responsibilities.
Ongoing management: Once the new process is in place, it is monitored and managed to ensure it is running smoothly and making the desired impact. This stepincludes regularly measuring performance and making any necessary adjustments to the process. A dashboard is provided to facilitate this management.
Review and evaluation: The process must then be reviewed and evaluated regularly to ensure it continues to meet the organisation's goals and objectives, and to identify any additional areas for improvement.
