Artificial intelligence and emerging technologies in public services

Descripition

Together, our engineers, project managers and designers work to further AI research and contribute to the swift and efficient resolution of governmental issues. At Oak Digital Consulting, we help governments to utilise AI to create better policies, make better decisions, enhance citizen participation, and boost the effectiveness of digital public services.

While AI has substantial potential benefits, achieving them is not always straightforward. The use of AI in government is less prevalent than in the private sector. The field is complicated and has a high learning curve, and governments’ contexts are particular and pose several challenges. Thus, we work with different stakeholders to ensure that the implementation of AI in governments is made fairly and effectively.

Ensure the public agency has access to sufficient funding and infrastructure to implement the desired solution
Create interdisciplinary, multicultural, and inclusive viewpoints
Establish a reliable, equitable, and responsible strategy for deploying AI
Ensure ethical data collection, access, and use of the new solution
Deployment of the AI solution and system integration
Conduct an impact assessment and recognise significant changes that AI may bring
